Night one without tent fly was relatively successful - but lack of privacy at this kind of campsite plus still some condensation - and the early sunrise is brutal. Not worth it - more effective forced airflow on night two with the fly on and the door all the way open.

The Thermarest Uberlite 3/4 length is obviously ridiculous but it does work. It is a lower quality of sleep finding somewhere for my legs through the night, but I think the pillow is playing just as much of a role here. Will continue to consider it for ultralight adventures.

Sandals all weekend was fine - socks needed once in the tent. Trousers for camp at night would have been nice though.

With the best men. Considered no tent fly but not worth it with slight risk of rain. Two hired firepits for food and warmth. Did begin to get colder than expected, so retreated to the cabin for the late evening 11pm onwards.
